Speakers:

Bill 52, Alberta’s Energy and Utilities Statutes Amendment Act, 2025, opens the door to blending hydrogen into Alberta’s natural gas networks by amending the Province’s Gas Distribution Act and Gas Utilities Act.

Moderated by Barbra Korol, principal and owner of Peitho Group and a Transition Accelerator fellow, this webinar will explore our panel’s views on key areas of the pending regulation, including hydrogen blending limits, cost recovery, and consumer consent, exploring potential impacts not just on regulatory certainty, but on protecting consumers, supporting utilities, and enabling a blending market to become a foundational demand driver for Alberta’s broader hydrogen economy.
